ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Keri Collins is a BAFTA nominated director for film and television. He has directed for the BBC, The Sunday Times, and US network PBS .
His short film ‘FUNDAY’ was described by Tony Grisoni (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas) as “Deliciously melancholic”; was an official selection at the Raindance Film Festival 2011; was acquired for distribution by Shorts International and nominated for a BAFTA Cymru award for Best Short film.
In 2008, Keri was mentored by Sir Kenneth Branagh after being selected for the prestigious Guiding Lights scheme.
Keri is represented by Nish Panchal and Sam Greenwood at Curtis Brown Group.
ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Ray Panthaki is a critically acclaimed producer responsible for a string of commercially successful British movies such as KIDULTHOOD, CITY RATS and THE MAN INSIDE, starring Peter Mullan.
He is also a successful actor, with over 15 years experience in the industry having starred in productions such as ALI G IN DA HOUSE, 28 DAYS LATER, IT’S A WONDERFUL AFTERLIFE and recently made his RSC debut playing the lead in The EMPRESS at the Royal Shakespeare Company. Ray was recently long-listed for a BAFTA for his Directorial Debut ‘Life Sentence’.
ABOUT THE WRITER
Si Fantauzzo is a rising star of British film, with a number of feature screenplays having been produced over the past few years. CITY RATS starred Danny Dyer, Tamer Hassan and Susan Lynch and was an official selection at Slamdance 2009.
JANUARY is currently in post-production, whilst THURSDAY was acquired by a Canadian production company who are slated for production in the summer of 2014.
